Register residence

Regardless of whether you have just arrived in Germany or maybe you have just moved within Germany. In both cases, you have to register at your new place of residence in Germany at the citizens 'registration office (also known as the residents' registration office).

Sometimes you don't get an appointment within a week or two. It is important that you have booked the appointment within the prescribed one to two weeks. You can usually do the appointmentsbook online at your registration office.
